Summary

After MS symptoms made needlepoint increasingly difficult, Amanda Payne searched for an alternate creative outlet and fell in love with hand knitting. Using looms as adaptive tools, along with traditional methods, she creates unique plush animals, decor, and wearable accessories from both modified and personally designed patterns.

In addition to her completed work, Amanda uses her home school and volunteering teaching experience to offer beginner and advanced classes using her adaptive knitting techniques and provides all necessary equipment. Amanda is excited to have found a creative home at AOTG to connect with collectors, students and other fiber artists.
