Summary
Carol grew up in the beautiful state of Maryland, and although roots run deep, she now calls North Carolina home. She enjoys painting, gardening, photography, and traveling, all of which inspire her artwork.
Her painting journey began in high school when she entered her first art competition and received an honorable mention, which ignited her passion for art. Over the years, she has had many opportunities to take painting classes from national artists, allowing her to develop her skills in various mediums. After many years of primarily working with acrylics, she joined a weekly painting group that encouraged her to try watercolors, and she quickly fell in love with this medium.
Carol believes that art inspires everyone in different ways, often evoking special places, memories, or emotions. If her art resonates with you and stirs something special within, she feels it has achieved its purpose.
Having recently retired, Carol is excited to embrace this next chapter of her life, creating, sharing, and inspiring those around her.
