Meet the Artist

 No matter what media Sandy Collier uses, she expresses herself through vibrant colors passionately painted from the heart. Known by many as the “ Master Gardener Artist,” most of her painting inspiration comes from nature or her gardens of past and present. Her colorful creations are painted in watercolor, acrylics or mixed media.

After a 35 year career of being an RN, she returned to her childhood dream of becoming an artist, having studied under 6 teachers and attending many workshops. Besides painting for over 17 years, she has been a Master Gardener over 25 years. She has won many awards in photography, art, and flower shows. Sandy paints at home and in her Garden HeART Studio located at ARTS on the GREENWAY. She teaches classes in mixed media and organizes a free “open” studio on the first and third Thursday at AOTG.
