Meet the Artist

 Shana Templin is a Charlotte-based artist with ties to local businesses in Mount Holly. She grew up with the creative influences of family, friends, and teachers. She has a degree in Visual Art and a Certificate in Arts Integration. Art has always had a prominent role in her life in meaningful ways. Shana’s career began as an Art Educator, then as an Arts Integration Specialist, and now as an Arts In Health Facilitator. She loves to engage people through arts to promote healing, self-awareness, and connection. A lifelong artist, Shana explores many mediums in her work but primarily focuses on ceramics, printmaking, film photography, and alternative processes like cyanotypes. She’s driven by the tactile process of creating while embracing imperfect or unplanned outcomes. Her inspiration comes from nature, different environments, and everyday observations.
