Originally from Spring Lake, NC, Tanya Annette Williams, affectionally nicknamed “Suga” Slim Williams, love of art Started in 1979 with 2 Vincent Van Gogh paintings in her neighbor's storage room, Cafe Terrace at Night and Starry Nights. Imagining herself in both paintings, walking the streets of France and lying beneath the stars, she knew she wanted to express the rest of her life through art, and she wanted others to dream and deeply feel as she did with those paintings through her art.
Although very skilled in many creative areas, her favorite art form is using canvases, acrylic paint, vector images, and mixed media styles to convey heart and soul. She has been an artist for 30+ years and desires to leave a lasting impression for decades on sharing life, love, and happiness in the best artistic way possible.
