Meet the Artist

 A self-taught artist and high school Spanish teacher, Laura Sexton started painting with her youngest child in 2017 at Mommy'n'Me paint parties. She uses bold, splashy colors to create acrylic portraits and landscapes, but rediscovered collage in 2022, creating still life and portrait collages.

Her art has been featured in exhibits from Indiana to Alabama, won awards from local competitions, and decorated the cover of The Language Educator​.
