Meet the Artist

 I was born in Gaston County and grew up in Dallas, NC and lived my entire life around this area. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree. Later I attended UNC at Charlotte and earned a six year degree in Management and Supervision.

During the time spent at the universities I would take my elective classes in the arts. These were very relaxing class for me and I learned skills there that made me look at the world from a different perspective. After graduation reality kicked in and I began my career teaching second grade and ended it as the Business Partnership Director for Gaston County Schools.

​Now I live in Mount Holly, NC and do what I like best – Art media of all kinds. Still, every chance I get, I take an art class to increase my knowledge of the arts. Everyday is like a vacation because I am doing what I like to do … Arts.
